what this site

is NOT about...

Its about God's word...

A lot of people are wondering and asking questions about this site so lets take some time to go over some information you need to know. Its about being saved by grace through faith, loving God and our neighbor by doing what the bible tells us with a loving heart of obedience. Its that simple.

Instead of following the traditions and doctrines of men, we follow the good doctrine of God. This includes observing the Sabatth which occurs on Friday night to Saturday night; the Feasts of the Lord and His dietary instructions on what we are to eat (or not).

Now lets go over some things this site is NOT about...

"By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome."
1 John 5:2-3

This site and its biblical information...

1. Does NOT mean you have to leave the church your currently attending

For some reason people think observing God's sabbath & feasts means they have to leave the denomination their attending. However this is not the case. The sabbath is a family time with God and so too are His feasts. If you can find others who celebrate & observe these things its easier to have fellowship at times but its not required to leave your church. A word of warning though - a lot of pastors and well intentioned people might attack you for doing these things. Some have been kicked out of their denominations for doing what God called us to do but be of good cheer. We are not called to conform to the world's standards but God's. No matter what church you attend you should test everything they teach against God's word; you should also pray and ask God if the church they are attending is where they are supposed to be. So many times we pray for a new car, a pay raise, help with a personal problem but we do not seek God to see if should attend a certain church.

Believe, Live

and Preach theWord!

2. Does NOT mean you have to try to be "Jewish"

Just because you observe the Lord's Sabbath does not mean you have to use a lot of Hebrew words or try to act like a Jew. Be youself, love God and seek His truth on how you and your family are supposed to love Him and be a light to other people. Its hard to get people to ask questions for the hope that is within you if your just like everyone else. However when you start observing the sabbath, feasts, etc then people ask questions. So when your obedient your set apart from the world and its wichedness. It brings about a closer walk with God, your family and for the man, you truly become the spiritual head of the household when your obedient and teach your family the same.

3. Does NOT follow the SDA (Seventh Day Adventists) or other denominations

While the SDA observe the sabbath this site does NOT condone what they believe. There is a lot of false teachings based off of Ellen G. White teachings which are so unbiblical its not even funny. Lets go over just a couple of examples.

In their "Ministry Magazine" Oct 1981 edition says "We believe the revelation and inspiration of both the Bible AND Ellen White's writtings to be of equal quality. The superintendence of the Holy Spirit was just a careful and thorough in one case as in the other."

Funny how scripture never prophesies about this future prophetess Ellen G. White nor the fact that many of her 'revelations' and teachings are in direct conflict with scripture. SDAs also forget that scripture states we are not to 'add to' or 'take way' from God and His word as Ellen White has done numerous times.

Another examples of SDA heresy...

"so Christ will place all these sins upon Satan, the originator and instigator of sin... so Satan, bearing the guilt of all the sins which he has caused God's people to commit, will be for a thousand years confined to the earth, which will then be desolate..." (The Great Contraversy p. 485).

So what is wrong with this? 1st, nowhere in scripture do we see where Christ will place all sins on Satan. 2nd, nowhere do we see in scripture that Satan will bear the guilt. If we look t the scripture in 1 Peter 2:24 it states that Christ bore our sins on Himself "who Himself bore our sin in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness..." 3rd problem, it states Satan causes God's people to sin, however the bible states in James 1:14 "but each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed." So many problems its not even funny.

They also believe they are the 'remnant church' and that "... Satan has taken full possession of the churches." (Spiritual Gifts V.I. p. 189-190). In other words they limit the saving grace of God. They also believe that the prayers of people outside of the SDA are an "abomination" to God because they are not SDA (Spiritual Gifts, V1, p. 190).

Another SDA heresy from Ellen White comes from the "Advent Review and Sabbath Herald" which stated "... The terms of salvation for every sona and daughter of Adam are here outlined. It is plainly stated that the condition of gaining eternal life is obedience to the commandments of God." This exact same thing the Apostle Paul fought against in his days - that works salvation is NOT the gospel. We are saved by grace through faith, not of works that any man should boast ref. Ephesians 2:8-10...

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them."

Notice it states we are saved by grace through faith and not by works. Next we see that after we are saved then were to do His good works. There are many more false teachings with the SDA but you get the idea.

We are not associated with the World Wide Church of God or the United Church of God as both support a "works salvation" message. This means they believe they are "saved by grace" AND you must do other things in order to be 'saved'. These other things are observing the sabbath, feasts of the Lord, belonging to 'their church', etc. However there is no scriptural proof for any of that - just look at the thief on the cross next to the Messiah. He did not observe the sabbath or the feasts of the Lord yet Yeshua stated that day the repentant thief would be with Him in paradise! There are many false teachers and denominations that think they are the 'one true church' but again there is no scriptural proof. The fact of the matter is, this site does not support any denomination at all! We just follow the in context word of God.

Now we are not saying all denominations are bad but we are to test everything against God's word and follow Him. How many times have we seen good pastors who were strong is God's word go off the narrow path and get involved in false teaching? LOTS. So with that said we do not endorse any denomination. We are to pray to God, ask for His wisdom, study His word and do the good works He wants us to do, to be a light to the world. God might have you attend a different church or denominations over time and thats fine - just do what He tells you to do and do not stray from God's good doctrine. You see when we stand before God on judgment day we will be the only one standing there - our pastor, bible study leader or church board of directors will not be standing with us. Only we will be responsible to God in what we believed, lived and how we taught our family and others. So its pretty important to test everything against His word.

4. Does NOT mean your going to hell if you don't observe the Sabbath, Feasts, etc

Unfortunately we have run into some people who told us "If you don't observe the sabbath your going to hell!" Nothing could be further from the truth - if you run into anyone that makes such claims, run away fast. While people might have good intentions or lots of zeal, we must hold true to God and His word. Does God operate the same way in everyone's lives at the exact same time? No of course not. He takes us each individually and works in our lives. Something that God did in your life early on, might not be something He needs to work in my life today. The focus is that we do not reject His word but run the race to win. For many decades we rejected His word about His sabbath and feasts but when He showed us in His word about these things, we had to decide if we were going to continue to reject His word and go our own way, or repent and start doing the things He calls us to do. Whatever you do, seek God, His word and ask Him what He wants you to do. Search the scriptures and be like a Berean to see if these things are indeed true, the live it.

5. Does NOT mean you are better than everyone else IF you observe

Unfortunately there are those who once they get a hold of some new biblical information they take great pride in what they have learned and suddenly think they are a teacher or prophet of God. However scripture states not all are called to be teachers or prophets. Matter of fact the real prophets in the bible had such hard and trying lives I don't know why anyone would want to be called a prophet or try to attain such a position. Fact remains when we mature in the Lord it takes time - lots of time. Going to bible college does not make one a 'man of God' and neither does learning some new things in scripture. Maturity in the Lord can only come about by spending time in Him. Speaking & praying to Him throughout the day, having Him work sin out of our lives and conforming to His image. Generally the more God works in our lives, the less sin we have and the more we understand that sin separates us from God. Its strains the relationship and Godly men and women understand that. If someone is full of pride and makes great strides to present themselves as godly be careful. There must be the light of God in a person's heart & eyes. Ever met a believer who really loved God? You notice it in their eyes; its clear, fresh and real. Its not a plastic veneer where you cannot see a person's heart. Remember to be humble and follow God and His word and do the good works that God wants you to do.

6. Does NOT mean you have donate or give money to this site

Jesus stated in Matthew 10: that "... freely you have received, freely give." Now while there are expenses to maintaining this site we have decided to offer the information for free. We do not look down on other ministries that charge for their teachings or ask for donations. God has enabled us to cover these expenses so far and we hope this continues. Our hope is that believers will follow God, study His word and do what He wants to.

What this site IS about...

This site is the help believers understand the relationship between grace, love and obedience. To see that once we become believers we are no longer to satisfy the desires of the flesh but walk a life of righteousness just like Jesus did. Many in their lives are not experiencing joy, hope, love or have a close relationship with God because they continue to walk in sin. They don't understand that if we are walking in obedience then God will bless us.

This is not a 'name it and claim it' belief or that your only obey God and His commandments just to get blessed - that too is missing the mark. Its about having a more real relationship with God and being blessed for doing so. Just like when you teach your children to have good manners, do the right things, live a life of integrity, etc then the relationship with them does not have the obstructions to get in the way. Now if our children do not walk in the right way, doing drugs, breaking the law, swearing, etc every parent knows that relationship is strained to put it nicely. So now our job is to search the scriptures to follow God's ways and not ways of man.

Consider what the Messiah said in regards to the law/commandments...

"Do not think that I have came to destroy the Law or the prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, not one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all if fulfilled. Whosover therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:17-20

"Heaven and Earth will pass away but My words will by no means pass away." Matthew 24:35
